THE GOOD LIFE
Life is better at the beach, the light and space is truly relaxing, whatever the weather.
Saundersfoot and the surrounding area has plenty to offer visitors, from the safe, clean, local beaches, to the wilder surfing beaches further west; the delightfully scenic Pembrokeshire Coast Path for walkers; Folly Farm for the youngsters and Oakwood Park for the older children. We also love the independent shops in the nearby market town of Narberth.
Our favourite restaurants are Coast, Mulberry and the Gallery at St Brides Hotel. The Marina chipshop in the harbour is, in our opinion, the best in town and it has a fresh fish counter for you to buy and cook your own seafood.
THE TERRACE AND GARDEN
The terrace wraps around the house, offering roof top views over Carmarthen Bay and Saundersfoot.
Comfortable outdoor furniture is ideal for dining alfresco or just relaxing while you sip a chilled drink on a summer’s evening.
At the back of the property is an outdoor tap, ideal for washing sandy feet and a washing line.
THE PROPERTY
Wogan Lodge is a stunning, detached, family holiday home, tucked away down an unmade lane just above the sandy beach of Saundersfoot.
Beautifully and stylishly furnished in calming relaxing tones that reflect the sea and sand.
Kitchen
Step into the modern, quality fitted kitchen/diner, perfect for family meals. It is well stocked - the all-important pots, pans and utensils have been hand picked by our family chef, Grandad!
Living Room
The spacious and very comfortable living room has a wooden floor and wood burning stove for those chillier evenings. It gives access to the enclosed, paved terrace.
Bedrooms
There are two bedrooms on the groundfloor (ideal for any family members who can't manage stairs): a spacious room with a super-king sized bed and room for a cot if required, and a pretty double room. There is a shower room and separate toilet on the ground floor.
Upstairs are two more bedrooms offering sea and village views, a roomy twin bedroom with separate toilet and the master bedroom with king sized sleigh bed, TV and en suite bathroom.
All bedrooms have first class bedlinen and fluffy white towels.
